Invitation from the President

With the theme "The difference you can see", we bring you the Brazilian Congress of Radiology 2021 (CBR21). A very special event where we will celebrate its 50th edition.

Since the beginning, when we held the first edition, the driving forces in creating an event that would gather radiologists from all over the country were the possibility of exchanging knowledge and the integration among these professionals. Such premises remain valid, but require adaptations in order to attain such goals, precisely at a time when new technological advances and changes in the imaging diagnosis practice are so fast.

The CBR21 was conceived with some essential features in mind, bringing you the latest and most consolidated scientific knowledge through sessions held in new formats, shorter and favoring interactivity. Several activities will focus on skills that are increasingly valued and needed in the practice of Radiology, such as interaction with other specialties and with patients.

The scientific programming was elaborated so that each attendee can adapt their interests to the grid provided, which was designed to avoid overlapping of activities, especially when the themes are of great interest to our field. Also as part of this strategy and making room for an innovative approach, several online sessions will be held in new formats, from a studio specially built for this occasion.

Finally, we have opted for an online congress based on the premise that every attendee should feel absolutely safe at a time when restrictive health measures are still fundamental despite the improvement in the pandemic scenario. We are certain that we bring you an innovative event, which will provide a motivating and inspiring. Enjoy the Brazilian Congress of Radiology 2021, the visible difference.

We are heading into the 50th Brazilian Congress of Radiology, in a year marked by tough moments when we still need to recreate concepts and change attitudes.

Therefore, our meeting will take place October 8th-12th in a 100% virtual format. Although the event will be remote, we want to be all together and connected. We are bringing an innovative, revamped, interactive CBR21, full of  “out-of-the box” activities.

Our main focus will be on scientific activities with substantial interaction between participants, speakers and moderators.  They will include: controversial topics, inter and transdisciplinary topics, clinical cases discussion and tutorials that bring the broad spectrum of radiology and diagnostic imaging, in seven simultaneous sessions per day.

Do you remember a teacher you always wanted to meet to discuss a case and never had the opportunity? The “Meet with the teacher” session will approach clinical cases presented by radiologists from all over Brazil, allowing you to interact with Key Opinion Leaders. CBR21 will also hold a special session for undergraduate and young radiologists, called Foundational Education on Radiology.

CBR21 main topic is "The difference you can see", which will discuss the role of the radiologist in the daily medical practice, taking them out from behind the workstations and negatoscopes and bringing them into light: making them noticeable for patients, colleagues, other specialties and the entire medical community.

Invitation from the Scientific Committee

Dear colleagues,

CBR21 main topic is "Our visible difference", which will discuss the role of the radiologist in the daily medical practice, taking them out from behind the workstations and negatoscopes and bringing them into light: making them noticeable for patients, colleagues, other specialties and the entire medical community.

We invite Brazilian Radiologists to be front and center at our CBR home. The CBR21 is planned to provide the best learning and recycling experience. Join us!
